Singlar is a French blend, not a single malt, and its 8-year-old expression has a smooth, velvety texture and fruity notes of quince, with a subtle light peaty character on the palate. The distinct qualities come from its finish in barrels that previously held "vin cuit," a cooked wine from Provence.
